Ghast AI Documentation

Welcome to the Ghast AI user manual. Ghast AI is an on-chain-powered, desktop-first AI partner for macOS: inference runs through the 0G Compute network, personal data is end-to-end encrypted into 0G Storage, and the same agent extends from your desktop into your browser, your Mac, and the messaging apps your team already uses.

This manual is the source of truth for what Ghast AI ships today, how to set it up, and where the safety boundaries are.

Quick Navigation

  • Start Here — understand the product and the shortest path to your first conversation
  • Web3 Infrastructure — how 0G Compute, your wallet, and 0G Storage fit together
  • Desktop Client — install, sign in, set up the wallet, and learn each surface of the desktop app
  • Computer Use — let the agent operate macOS apps, with per-app approval
  • Browser Extension — Ghast Browser Relay, the bridge that lets the agent drive your real Chrome
  • Remote Channels — Telegram / Discord / Slack / Feishu / WeChat bridges
  • Partner Mode — the long-term collaboration layer, with explicit hard boundaries
  • Security — permissions, keys, data, and trust boundaries
  • Reference — settings, models, skills, MCP config
  • Troubleshooting — common issues, by symptom

Scope of this manual

  • This manual only describes capabilities that currently exist in the shipping product.
  • Capabilities that exist in code but are not exposed as the default path are marked as "implemented but not a default surface", not as features the user should rely on.
  • Reference pages collect fields, statuses, and ranges. Other pages read as a user manual, not as engineering documentation.

Audience

The manual is written for end users and integrators of Ghast AI. Developer-facing topics (building skills, packaging the app, contributing) are not in scope here; see the source repository for those.
