Account and Wallet

Ghast separates your signed-in account from the wallet stored on this device. Account settings cover identity, points, and invites. Wallet settings cover local signing, 0G account binding, and on-chain activity. Signing out does not back up your wallet, and disconnecting a wallet does not delete your Ghast account.

Account

Open Settings → Account.

Edit the profile shown on this device

Select the avatar or edit button to change your name and avatar. The custom name and avatar stay on this device. Avatars can be JPG, PNG, or WebP and must be smaller than 8 MB. Choose Use account avatar to remove the local override.

Points and rankings

The account overview shows your tier, points, and invite network. Select the points or invite-network summary to open its records. The leaderboard can switch between the current season, S1, and all time, with refresh and pagination controls.

The page distinguishes a leaderboard that has not been generated, a user outside the current page, and a temporarily unavailable service. An empty table does not mean your points were cleared.

Invite codes

  • Copy your own invite code from the profile card.
  • If this account has not bound an invite relationship, the profile editor offers Bind invite code.
  • An account can bind only once. Check the code before submitting it.

Sign out

Sign out ends the current Ghast account session. It does not automatically remove local wallet keys, workspaces, or local conversations. On a shared device, review the Wallet page, exported data, and system credential storage separately.

Wallet

Open Settings → Wallet. If no wallet exists on this device, choose one setup path.

Create a wallet

  1. Select Generate wallet.
  2. Copy the recovery phrase in full and store it offline.
  3. Confirm I saved my phrase.
  4. Return to the wallet overview and verify the address and network.

Anyone who can see the phrase can control the wallet. Never place it in a Ghast message, screenshot, cloud note, or support ticket.

Import a seed phrase

Open Import seed phrase, paste a 12- or 24-word phrase, and select Import phrase. Ghast restores the corresponding wallet locally. Importing does not verify that your separate backup is complete.

Import a private key

The key must be a 64-character hexadecimal value prefixed with 0x. A private-key import has no recovery phrase that Ghast can later reveal; retain the original key yourself.

Wallet overview

The address card lets you copy the address, open Explorer, and access more actions. Four tabs organize the rest of the page:

TabWhat it shows
OverviewNative 0G balance, account-binding state, wallet source, and creation time.
TokensDiscovered tokens, net change, inflow/outflow, and latest activity.
TransactionsRecent amount, counterparty, hash, and time, plus an Explorer link.
Activity LogWallet-related events such as automatic funding.

On-chain lists depend on the network and indexer. If a list is empty or refresh fails, retry and then verify the address independently with the Explorer link.

Bind the wallet to your account

A local wallet is not automatically bound to the signed-in Ghast account.

  1. Make sure the correct Ghast account is signed in.
  2. Open Settings → Wallet and verify the local address.
  3. Select Bind. That click makes Ghast fetch a server challenge, sign it with the local wallet, and submit it automatically; there is no separate signature-content confirmation page.
  4. Wait for the page to show the bound state.

Binding uses a one-time signature to prove control of the address; it is not a transfer. Verify the signed-in account and local address before selecting Bind. If the challenge expires or the signature does not match, start again.

If the server account is already bound to another address, the page shows that mismatch. Confirm who controls the existing address before replacing anything.

Back up, replace, or disconnect

The address card’s More actions menu includes:

  • Reveal seed phrase: available only for a generated or phrase-imported wallet and protected by a confirmation step.
  • Export private key: available for any local wallet and protected by a confirmation step.
  • Swap local wallet: after confirmation, removes the current key from this device and returns to setup. The account’s server-side binding remains.
  • Disconnect wallet: removes the local key from this device. The server-side binding remains.

Finish an independent backup before swapping or disconnecting. Ghast cannot restore a removed key unless you import it again.

Security checklist

  • Create, import, or reveal keys only in Settings → Wallet.
  • Never send a phrase or private key to an Agent, Skill, Tool, MCP server, Channel, or support representative.
  • Before signing, verify the account, address, chain, and purpose of the message.
  • Treat the blockchain record as the final source for balances and transactions.
  • Do not reveal secrets on a public or shared device.

Inference funds, top-ups, and automatic funding are managed separately under 0G Compute.
