Data settings
Open Settings → Data for local export, import, synchronization, and learning controls. Proxy and request parameters have a separate Network settings guide.
Data: export and import
Path: Settings → Data → Data management.
- Export data opens a seven-category selector, initially all selected. The downloaded ZIP is not encrypted. Export ready confirms handoff to the download flow, not a completed disk save.
- Import data opens the system picker. Selecting a compatible archive starts importing without a content preview; Self-improve data requires a separate replacement confirmation. Import is a merge, not an exact rollback, and can partially complete before an error.
- Local export selections are separate from Sync data.
Follow Back up, restore, and sync your data for the category-by-category limits, real export dialog, import rules, migration checklist, and recovery steps.
Learning controls on Data
The separate Self-improvement and Skill Learning Suggestions switches require Save. They do not select backup categories, and disabling learning does not undo all existing Skills or applied behavior changes. See Self-improvement and Skill suggestions for the two switches, candidate review, model/data use, and Advanced diagnostics.
0G Storage sync
Sync data selects categories for newly packaged snapshots. A retry can resume a pending snapshot with its original categories; changing the selection does not repackage that earlier upload. Default sync selects Memories and Self-improve; Full sync selects all seven. Category switches and 0G sync save immediately. They are separate from the Self-improvement controls that use Save.
An upload encrypts selected data using the App Wallet and submits a public 0G Mainnet pointer transaction that spends Gas. Enabling sync can trigger a missed daily upload shortly after 06:00, including on a receiving device. Pull latest uses the same wallet and import rules; it is not a full restore or a download-only mode.
See Set up 0G Storage sync before enabling it. That guide covers scheduling, upload and pull, retained data, and transaction-error recovery.
Network
Proxy and request settings live in Settings → Network, separate from Data. Follow Network settings for manual-proxy setup, draft testing and Save, request limits, 0G RPC, connection coverage, and recovery. Off disables Ghast's manual proxy, not necessarily the system proxy.
